Linguistics 408-508
Programming for linguists
Handouts:
Some of the course materials are available in xml
as well; if your
browser supports xslt
stylesheets, you can follow those links
instead.
Web Pages:
- Perl Archives
- A nice free perl for Windows machines
- My own website where archives of
the programs in the book are.
- My favorite free text editor Vim
- An awesome free perl for older Macs
(pre OS-10)
- BBedit, a wonderful text editor for
Macs, that at least used to be free
- The website for the Textpad text
editor program that you are using. (This is not free software
generally; there is now a site license
for the UA though!)
- The UA has a site license for the Windows version of ssh. There
are links on the site license page to a free mac version too.
